Midway through my second pregnancy my husband and I realized that a home birth would likely be the best option for us.  This pregnancy was full of healing and being able to have our baby at home under Sierra's care was the greatest gift in our journey.  The moment we met with Sierra we were at ease.  We loved her warm personality full of confidence, lightness, and gentle guidance.  Because my first birth experience was not all that I wanted, Sierra took the time to listen and offer creative ways in which we might have a better experience. And it was!  I looked forward to each visit, her warm hellos to me and my baby. He was being cared for as much as I was during each of her visits.  

 

The day of our birth was truly healing because I had Sierra to quietly guide me through the delivery.  Her words were encouraging and her touch gentle.  Her attentive care over the previous weeks had instilled within me confidence and calm which meant I could relax and just give birth. Our son was born at home surrounded by joy and peace.  Equally as amazing my body came through delivery with such healing under Sierra's care.  Having her as a piece of our story has been a sacred gift to our family.
